I can remember as a kid rummaging through Mom’s dresser and closets while she was at work. Just to see what kind of cool shit she had and never told me about. Especially when I found a book she was planning on using to tell me about the birds and bees; which she never employed, because the only thing she ever said was on my first date.
“I don’t think I need to tell you how to act, do I?”
Yep. Mom, you prolly should have. :P
This time it’s different, because I have to go through her things. Things I’d rather not have to look at. But, I unearthed some jewels when I found the letters from Addie. My mother’s prissy aunt. And I mean that in the nicest way. *snerk*
Stay tuned while I dig through these gems.
As Bette Davis said, “Fasten your seatbelts, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.” ;-)
