Just a thought…

I heard throughout the election how much Obama is anti-Israel, how he would be bad for Israel.  I even heard that the “pro-Israel” saw Obama as a potential threat.  Really?  Funny how his first appointment, his Chief of Staff, is “Israel’s man”.  He is a Jew that actually volunteered to serve the Israeli army.  He served a two-month stint at a base in Northern Israel. He also distanced himself from other Dems when he supported the October 2002 joint Congressional resolution authorizing the Iraq war.  How is that for reaching across party lines? It is a smart move in more ways than one, in my opinion.  Rahm Emanuel is know for being tough as nails and knowing the RIGHT way to get things done.

So far, I think Obama is doing well at disproving you haters.

Just a thought.

  1. Oh hell yeah, he’s going tp pull together the best of the best. It’s go time, he knows what the next year or so will bring, the economy itself hasn’t seen ANYTHING yet.

You watch, he’s going to be a decent stand up President, and many with great ideas, tremendous skill and knowledge will be in his ear or by his side to help us all out of this.

  2. Ahahaha! I have to laff, because otherwise I’ll puke.
I’m undecided as to whether he’ll be a ventriloquist’s dummy or if he’ll be a sock puppet.
Let’s face facts. It AIN’T all about the economy.

At least he has a basic primer to get him through presidential kindergarten.

  3. Of course it is not JUST about the economy. He is creating a sweet platform to work from in Foreign Affairs. Many people have unkind words about President Clinton. He may be an adulterer, but he did have a kick ass staff that dealt with the economy. Obama is weaving many of those kick ass people in web that is just bound to catch this country when it is falling. He is very meticulous and he knows that EVERYONE is watching every move he makes. Then, they are waiting on the next one. He is very intelligent, regardless of comments made to the contrary. Have you ever heard that it takes a village to raise a child? Can you imagine how many it takes to heal an ailing country?? Of course he is going to have people surrounding him, telling him what to do. See, the difference here, is that he is choosing some other very intelligent, concise people TO surround him. Sometimes, it is not the horse that is making the smart decisions…it is the rider. His riders happen to very capable and qualified individuals. When you get that many knowledgeably rational people together, things happen. Great things. I say keep on keepin’ on.

  4. Oh and here’s the bucket, cause I know you are going to blow chunks after that. ;)

  5. The operative word is “rational”. And perhaps the “rider” can win the next Kentucky Derby by way of the perfect jockey.

  6. I suppose we shall see.

  7. Be sure that we will. ;-)

  8. I loves me some Obama.

It’s the same crap I said when Bush the Evil was elected not once but twice.
I remember being on the bitter and angry side of that.

Now it’s the other sides turn to be hateful and dismiss anything good Obama may do. It’s just how the sides of the aisle work.

  9. Ever wonder where that “Obama is anti-Israel” message came from? Have you ever seen the anti-Semite sermons from Sarah Palin’s witch doctor preacher? I don’t listen to the crap from either side, but actions DO speak louder than words!

  10. Don’t be a hater. Obama will not embarrass the US like Dudya the jokester. Get over it!
