So where have I been this time?

Oh man.

Does anyone else hate the system in place in the public schools or is it just me? Anyways, thanks to them not getting sick kids out of there, and parents not having a back up and using the school for their sick kid day care, my kids have been back to back sick, not only colds and tummy bugs, but fifths disease as well.

We also got a new dog, his name is Dexter.

Yeah he’s a rescue chihuahua. Poor little guy.

On top of those two events I can say it’s been the same old, same old.

We went through the beef recall scare, and started to get a little more healthy than we were, which is close to granola crunching at this point. Now if someone could give me a secret to quitting smoking, maybe I’ll be a healthy Yer MaMa some day soon.

My sister flys to Arizona tomorrow for her cancer check ups. We’re all a little on edge, but I don’t think that will ever go away, once a year or more depending, we all go through the fear of the return, but nothing near what she goes through.I think it’s the most unfair part of her disease, the constant fear she is unable to starve off right before these checks.

She goes back to the Mayo for these, because all her treatment was there, and Missouri really isn’t known for any cancer care, let alone any medical care. So I’m wishing the next few days go quickly so she can get good news, and another year with some freedom from worry.

I keep thinking that Easter comes REALLY soon now this year , and I won’t be ready.

My house needs a major spring clean, I think I should hire someone.

I’m gathering my ducks to home school next year.
