So we’re back to school now. First Grade, and she’s loving every minute so far. School shopping was a nightmare as usual, next year I’m loading up right after school gets out to avoid the crowds, it’s silliness times 1000, and I do not do crowds well at all.And what the heck is going on in society today? Has anyone noticed that it seems very few parents teach manners to kids anymore, or how to stay out of the way in the middle of the aisle, or not to trash the things on the shelves? I think some of today’s parents need a spanking and a serious time out. Our daughter got an early Birthday Gift last night, an American Girl Doll she’s been wanting like mad crazy, and she was over the moon.http://www.americangirl.com/ So this morning she spent 30 minutes getting her doll ready for school, packing her little back pack and feeding her a little breakfast of doughnuts, and we all walked to school together. After we dropped my daughter off, Brother and I had to carry the doll back home together, so many people were looking at me a bit odd, and then I thought, “oh jeez, poor boy” they must have thought it was his doll and I was carrying it for him. It made me chuckle, if only they made little boy dolls, I think we’d actually get one. Powered by Qumana

They do! Our oldest son has a few. He received a baby boy doll from his grandma when I gave birth to our younger son. He fed when I fed, he changed a diaper when I changed a diaper; ’twas heaven for him and me. He has a Diego doll he got for Christmas…he loves it as well.
